The Dallas-Ft. Worth area has more community bands per capita than anywhere in the United States. Here is a listing of the bands in our area. Please support your local band by attending their concerts or get that dusty old horn out of your closet and join up! The Forest Hills Adult Community Band offers a place for personal growth in instrumental music. Some of our musicians have played their instruments for many years. Other have not played for many years, but wish to return to great musical performances.

As community band enthusiasts, we want to play, we want to have fun playing, and we want to make our band better. Network with ACB for help in building your audience, fundraising, finding fun themed concerts, and much more. From July 1st- Oct 1st, we offer half price membership dues to new members for the remainder of the year. COMMUNITY BAND No more than 50% of the ensemble can include the following: • Professional musicians • Instrumental music educators • Students pursuing a music degree • Private instrumental educators • Music faculty in higher education Naturally any member of the ensemble can be from an occupation not listed above.

The Hartland Community Band was organized in to foster and promote an adult concert band that offers challenging and rewarding music for all players. We exist as an organization to enrich our musical skills and to gather with other adults sharing the . Our members range from 14 to 80, and hail from locations all across central and western Band has become an established presence in the Zionsville and surrounding communities. Band members are dedicated to preserving the tradition of a community band, and fostering continued interest in music by youth and adult alike.
