Overview. Adult Day Services programs are designed to provide older adults and adults with disabilities the opportunity to engage in community-based services, including: structured social, recreational and therapeutic activities, limited health services, meals, supervision, support services, personal care services, information and referrals and respite for caregivers. Adult Day Care is a program available to persons aged 60 and older to provide health and social services in a community-based setting. Services are generally furnished on a regular basis for four or more hours per day, one or more days per week.
